BRI and BRICS Solidarity Prayer with Zion Church
"Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body."
Hebrews 13:3
Heavenly Father,
We lift up our brothers and sisters in Christ who suffer for their faith in China today.
We pray for Pastor Ezra Jin and the other church leaders from Zion Church still being held in prison since their arrest on October 9th, 10th, and 11th. Grant them strength, comfort their families, and sustain their witness in this time of trial.
We pray for all believers in China who face mounting pressure, restrictions, and persecution for following You. May they know they are not forgotten, and that Christians around the world stand with them in spirit and in prayer, and that the world is bearing witness to their treatment.
Lord, we ask that You would soften the hearts of those in authority. May China's leaders recognize that religious freedom strengthens rather than threatens nations, and that true partnership between peoples and a shared future for mankind requires respect for the conscience and faith of all.
We pray for the immediate release of Pastor Jin and all detained church leaders, and for a future where Christians in China can worship freely, serve their communities openly, and live out their faith without fear.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who calls us to remember those in prison as if we were imprisoned with them.
Amen.
